Using Visualisers
Principal focus of the project
This project explored the impact on learning of using visualisers to demonstrate how to approach writing in ESOL, and tackle multi-step questions in Maths.
Areas of learning
What is this about and what were the main findings?
The use of visualisers had begun before lockdown, but once online learning became the norm, other tools such as Jamboard and Google Docs had tended to replace them. The project reported that in the classroom, the use of visualisers had led to significant improvements in assessments. Another positive outcome had been the production of many scaffolded 'how to' videos.
