Aims
For participants to: develop a problem-solving approach to teaching functional mathematics
Outcomes
By the end of the session participants should have: demonstrated an awareness of where numeracy located/exists identified where the numeracy is in their context identified tasks that will help to assess and feedback on learners’ process skills in maths identified common learner errors and misconceptions in Number and strategies for addressing them adapted functional maths questions to suit vocational contexts
