Principal focus of the project
This research focussed on determining what 'skilled and confident staff' in the area of online teaching looked like, and how this impacted the practitioner, learners and the organisation.
Areas of learning
What is this about and what were the main findings?
Qualitative research was conducted directly with a sample group of staff volunteers from one college, and indirectly with over 100 respondents from the wider FE sector through social media. The findings suggested that teacher efficacy, confidence and mindset were key to supporting any notion of good online teaching and learning.
