Evaluating the usefulness of mobile phone usage in resit GCSE English classrooms

This project investigated using mobile phones to increase participation in the classroom and wider learning opportunities.

What is this about and what were the main findings?

Four teachers from the English Department trialled two applications with their vocational GCSE resit classses. Kahoot was used in a collaborative and competitive context, while Otter was used for providing feedback. JPD was the CPD approach adopted to support this developmental process.
