Principal focus of the project

The project focused on staff and their engagement with CPD, taking a joint practice approach to build and launch the Teacher’s Takeaway an online portal showcasing examples of outstanding teaching, learning and assessment- that teachers working anywhere can access.

What is this about and what were the main findings?

Practitioner to practitioner collaboration in the project was strong. HSCD embedded the Teacher’s Takeaway into its quality cycle and this is also in process at Eastleigh and Fareham colleges. Embedding the project into the daily activities of the college has made a significant positive difference to the level of staff engagement and take-up.
