Leadership Design: A Guide to Leadership Development in the Education & Training Sector

The purpose of ‘Leadership Design’ is to help the Education and Training Sector create the culture of leadership it needs. This guide has been written to help individuals create new cultures of leadership that both inspire them and their colleagues, as well as help tackle the big issues we currently face, such as adapting to the changes in resources, high levels of youth unemployment, the innovation challenge and making use of new technology. Section 1, ‘Understanding Your Leadership Needs’, addresses the wider contextual issues affecting leadership development design in the Education and Training sector. Section 2 looks speciically at how to design your own leadership development programme.
