Excellence Gateway
Welcome to the Support for Excellence pages on the Excellence Gateway.
The Support for Excellence programme facilitates continuous quality improvement in the learning and skills sector primarily through the use of peer review and development (PRD) and provision of online guidance on provider self-assessment.
Please use the icons above or navigation options in the left hand panel to find out more about the programme and to access resources. For information and resources on the stages and activities involved in the PRD cycle please use the links in the diagram below. For resources organised by theme or sector, or relating to establishing a group, use the links in the left hand menu.
To find out more about organisations engaged with PRD activity and to communicate with these providers, please use the PRD Community icon.
Newsletters and details of past and future PRD-related events are available on the News and events pages.
If you have any feedback or comments about these pages please contact us on sfe@lsis.org.uk
PRD advisers
Our PRD Advisers have extensive knowledge and experience of the further education system and the PRD Process. They can offer advice and support on all stages of the PRD cycle, providing guidance on documentation and good practice materials, facilitating the embedding of PRD in the Quality Cycles of all group members, and identifying the impacts of PRD.
The PRDAdviser_Leaflet (PDF document, 425KB) provides a summary of who your PRD Advisers are, contact details and what support they can give you.
