Skills and Employer Responsiveness

Welcome to the Skills and Employer Responsiveness (SER) website. The programme aims to improve providers' work with employers and will focus on three strands:

• improve responsiveness to employers;
• apprenticeships; and
• getting people in to work.

By following the links on this page you can find details of the SER programme in each of the English regions along with contact details and an overview of support available.

An archive of resources provided as part of the previous support programme, World Class Skills (WCS) Developing Responsive Provision, can be accessed through the National Archives web archive. New resources to support SER will be available from the Excellence Gateway from the end of September.

Activity delivered through the SER programme is funded by LSIS, but providers need to make a subscription of £1,000 in order to access a package of support customised to their priorities. Payment can be made from the credit on a provider’s LSIS Account, or by using a credit/debit card or by requesting a sales invoice.
