Welcome to the Skills and Employer Responsiveness (SER) website. This area of the website covers LSIS activity and resources aimed at improving responsiveness to employers including Apprenticeships and skills provision for the unemployed. The SER subscription programme ended in July 2011.
In the autumn LSIS will fund a number of provider led group development projects in three areas:
- Apprenticeships
- Getting people into work
- Specific sector subject area / Apprenticeship frameworks
Details of these projects can be found on the LSIS corporate website. We also hope to run a number of events and activities aimed at sharing effective practice in growing your business with employers; details will be here later in the year.
By exploring this section of the site you will find a wealth of new resources created in partnership with providers. Some resources still contain reference to TQS, Train to Gain and LSC, but they have been retained on the website as we think they still hold useful content.
LSIS also offers a range of support and other online resources that may be of use if you're interested in skills and employer responsiveness.
