Chris McAllister | Region: North West

When I left University I worked in Public Libraries in London and Hertfordshire. A couple of years part-time teaching after a career break when my children were young, got me interested in learning technology and working across college.

I have worked at Blackpool and The Fylde College since 1989 as Head of Learning Resources. In addition to running Resource Centres on the four main college campuses, I manage support for Moodle and also college reprographic services. In recent years, I facilitated the college e-Learning Champions project.

I am currently involved in setting up a centre for our Higher Education courses in a new building on that campus plus design and planning of centres for a future FE Campus in the centre of Blackpool and a new Nautical Campus at Fleetwood.
