Anyone over 16 who is currently studying in the learning and skills sector or who holds a related sabbatical position (e.g. a Student Union president of a further education college) is eligible to apply for the National Learner Panel. Membership is for one full year (from October) and panel members are required to attend four full panel meetings. Alongside this commitment, members can choose to attend extra meetings and optional subgroups.
“I have found the meetings really useful. I am grateful to be able to voice my opinion and am glad that the NLP is one of many ways that the learner voice can make a difference”Grace Beazer, NLP 2009–2010.
