Anyone over 16 who is currently studying in the learning and skills sector or who holds a related sabbatical position (e.g. a Student Union president of a further education college) is eligible to apply for the National Learner Panel. Membership is for one full year (from October) and panel members are required to attend four full panel meetings. Alongside this commitment, members can choose to attend extra meetings and optional subgroups.
"The work of the panel is so important because through panel events and subgroup meetings you are given a chance to get your voice heard at a national level. You can make a big difference simply by starting with your own experience."Amadou Bah, NLP 2008-09.
