Bromley College motor vehicle department: Blockbusters

Many learners dislike the process of being assessed. But finding out what your learners know is an ever-essential task. So Bromley College decided to make assessment fun. Using a large-screen projection of the Blockbusters TV show graphics customised with appropriate vocational questions, initial, formative and summative assessment test have become something the students look forward to.

The competitive element of the quiz is great for group dynamics - particularly useful as part of an induction programme. And the group discussions about which answer to submit to the question master help all learners contribute in a fun and non-threatening environment - building confidence and understanding along the way.
