In your workroom or workspace, you'll notice a Discussion forum' box. This box displays information on the last 10 posts made in the forum.
In the bottom-left corner of this box is a link to Enter the forum'. Click on this link to enter the forum within your workroom or workspace.
Note: If there is no Discussion forum' box in your workroom, it means the host of your workroom has switched off the discussion forum tool. If you'd like the forum to be made available, contact the host of your workroom.

When you enter the discussion forum in your workroom or workspace, you'll notice a New topic' button above the top-right corner of the forum table. Click on this button to start a new topic.
A box will appear for you to enter the subject' of your topic and an actual message' to get the discussion started. When you're ready to post the new topic and message in the forum, click on the Post' button at the bottom of this box. You'll then be taken to the forum table for the topic you've just started.
When you enter a particular discussion topic in your workroom's forum (or workspace's forum), you'll notice an Add reply' button above the top-right corner of the discussion table. Click on this button to post a message.
A box will appear for you to enter your message. Once entered, click on the Post' button at the bottom of this box to post the message in the forum.
Tip 1: You can preview your message before you post it by clicking on the Preview' button.
Tip 2: You can format your message (eg change the font colour of text, change the font size of your text, make text bold, underline text, insert images and hyperlinks, etc) by using the formatting tools at the top of the box.
If there is no Discussion forum' box in your workroom, it means the host of your workroom has switched off the discussion forum tool. If you'd like the forum to be made available, contact the host of your workroom. They will be able to switch the forum on via their Administration settings' page in the workroom.
Yes, you can. You just need to ensure that the web address (URL) you enter starts with http://. Without this the web address will not appear as a hyperlink.
Alternatively, to create a link, click on this button in the formatting toolbar at the top of the Post a reply' box. A window will pop up for you to enter the full web address (URL) of the page/file you want to link to. Once entered click on OK'. You'll then need to enter a description (ie what exactly you are linking to). Once entered click on OK' again. The link will have been created and you'll see it inserted in your message.
No, you can't. You can only upload files to the shared library within your workroom or workspace. You can, however, post links to files (see Can I post hyperlinks in the forum?' above).
