Apollo Mailing List

The Apollo mailing list is a general mailing list for practitioners to discuss ideas for adult and community learning (ACL). Topics cover everything from e-learning technical solutions to peer-to-peer advice on developing e-learning content.

The list is also used to announce all sorts of exciting initiatives - from funding opportunties and roadshows to training events and conferences - can you afford not to be on it? We also very much hope that you will encourage other practitioners and managers in your organisation to join as well.

This list is managed by Becta. Although moderators will try to ensure that inappropriate materials are removed, Becta cannot accept any responsibility for the content of messages. In addition, under no circumstances should contributors divulge the email addresses of other subscribers to any other organisation or unconnected third parties.

The Apollo languages mailing list is especially for ACL language practitioners to discuss ideas, suggestions and issues to do with using ICT to support language teaching. It is also here to offer support as the vast majority of members of this discussion group are language practitioners.
