A National Conversation: Young People and Respect

Summary This report covers nine regional conversations with further education and skills providers to explore young people’s views and perceptions about respect. A total of 382 participants were consulted representing young people drawn from communities in city and unitary authorities, coastal communities and areas of ethnic diversity, deprivation and regeneration. The conversations used interactive formats in a supportive atmosphere, addressing the topic of respect through five contexts: ‘Your Community’, ‘Your Workplace’, ‘In your Place of Learning, ‘In the Media’, ‘Your Right or Responsibility?’ A toolkit accompanies the report.
