Welcome to the new Generator site on the Excellence Gateway. This has been created to replace the old Becta web portal as we bring Generator fully into the LSIS domain. You can access all of the supporting resources from here and link to the Generator technology improvement leadership tool itself. Generator, the technology improvement leadership tool for FE & Skills, enables you to improve your organisation’s strategic deployment of technology for the benefit of your learners.
Working with providers and partners from across the sector, this site has been developed to bring together user guides, hints and tips, case studies and videos all intended to support your use of Generator.

Since Generator was launched in March 2009, colleges, adult and community education providers and work based learning providers have contributed to the development of Generator identifying hints and tips to support your use of the tool.
