E-learning example: LEARNWISE - e-learning materials development CPD

The College developed its ICT strategy some five years ago. The aim was to integrate ICT/ILT into normal curriculum delivery and ensure that all learners and staff had access to innovative tools, materials, support and systems that maximised the learning process. The VLE provides a rich learning environment for the development of innovative learning materials and the management and support of learners. After the College inspection in 2004 two new members of staff were employed to stimulate the use of the VLE and increase the level of resources held on the system.
