This is a project involving vocational teachers from schools with a low post 16 participation rate. The project looked at ways in which teaching and learning could be improved on vocational courses at both KS4 and KS5. Schools looked at current practice and identified ways in which to improve and develop this as a result of participating in the project. It includes ideas for increasing business links, maximising the impact of work experience and work related learning, extending the range of businesses for case studies, co-ordination and support for vocational education teachers and looking for a new direction in vocational education for a non-specialist school with a transient population;
